"It’s not called Fiji View Hotel for nothing!!!! Get a room with the view!!!!!"

"Beautiful, Quiet Room with Great Views — But Service Doesn't Match the Price The room was absolutely beautiful and very quiet, with a wonderful view. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and both the Japanese-style breakfast and dinner were excellent — some of the best food I had on the trip. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is the service level: at $600 a night, I'd expect more personal attention, such as help with luggage and being escorted to the room. Those small touches...

"Older style ryokan definitely kept the old style, a great experience that I think the newer hotels wouldn’t give you. Great views of the lake, only a 5 minute walk around the corner to see Mt Fuji!"

"Beautiful suite with lake view. Robes provided for onsen. Japanese style breakfast at our own table with hot pot and many courses. Convenient to rental bikes and restaurants. I highly recommend it."

"Excellent hotel and service. Very clean and quiet. We slept very well. Well located, about 15 minutes walk to old town."

"Staff were very helpful and the complimentary breakfast is nice, too"

"Great staff and clean room."

"Rooms were nice and spacious, but the Onsen was closed which was disappointing."

"Very convenient location. Rooms were spotless along with the entire facility. Onsens were beautiful and well maintained I especially loved their rooftop terrace with the foot onsen after a long day of walking. Great views up there! Nice and relaxing."
