"Beautiful property near the beach, shall return!"

"Our stay at Masseria Bandino & Spa was wonderful! The check-in process was quick and the woman checking us in was very helpful. The room was nice and spacious with a great air conditioning. Just outside our room was a little sitting area which was a great place to have our morning coffee. The pool area is beautiful and open to guests 24 hours a day! It was the perfect place to relax after a busy day. We greatly enjoyed our stay!"

"The house is nice, it must be said. Not very clean, but not a disaster either.The internet is terrible; it doesn't work at all.There's only one very, very small and noisy air conditioner in a hallway, not in one bedroom, not in the other, not even in the living room or kitchen. As I said, it's in a hallway, so it doesn't cool at all. You feel hot inside the house and when you sleep.But the worst thing is the location. Not because the town is ugly or dangerous, not at all. The town is very pretty, called Casamassella, but it's located 1 hour and 20 minutes from the beach. The advertisement says the house is a 15-minute walk from Otranto beach and an 18-minute walk from Otranto Cathedral. It also says it's a 13-minute walk from Otranto Station. Three big lies. They also lie about the distances by car, but they're more subjective, so I won't dispute them.The owner responds; that's true, and check-in was quick. Likewise, I would never go back to, nor would I recommend anyone go to, a place where they blatantly lie.I've attached a screenshot where the lie appears."

"I really enjoyed the food — it offered a good variety, including options for vegan and celiac diets. The staff was very nice, and I’d like to give special mention to the animators and especially the gentleman making pizza on the beach. He was extremely kind and went out of his way to accommodate my sister‑in‑law’s celiac needs. On the downside, I didn’t like the room. It had a strong damp smell, and there was no conditioner available. The quality of the soap and shampoo was very poor and almost impossible to use. The coffee at breakfast was also disappointing — it came from a machine and was horrible. Being in Italy, I was expecting a real espresso."
