"Excellent apartment for an adult family of 5. Very spacious for Japan. Mats on floor were comfortable and used couch as another bed. Doubles in a separate room were very comfortable. Double sink bathroom with separate shower/tub and toilet was very convenient for all of us. Great new space. "

"Excellent hotel for our family of three. Modern facilities, very clean, and helpful staff. Good location, close to heritage areas (though no views from the suite). Ask staff to help you make dinner reservations, as walk-in space was hard to come by in the better restaurants. Only quibble was the 6/10 breakfast buffet, which was probably just our tastes. Otherwise would definitely recommend, and would stay there again."

"Mimaru is an excellent place to stay in Kyoto. It is only three subway stops from Kyoto Stdtion and it is in a very quiet area. It has exceptional amenities and our room was impeccably clean and very comfortable. There is a Family Mart about 30m from the front entrance. Highly recommended."

"Good location and quiet neighborhood. Good facilities but lacking a bit if you are planning on using the kitchen. A few more dishes and utensils needed. Having the microwave/oven combo is nice."

"Lovely place, well placed for Dotenbari (20min walk) and Osaka in general. 2 different tube lines within 10 mins walk msde for easy access to kyoto, Universal and Nara. The staff were extremely helpful. When our lugage arrived it was taken to our room waiting for us. When it was time to move on the desk staff arranged everything for us , very impressed with the professionalism. Lots of Cafes and convenience stores within a minutes walk.
