The Oslavany Castle (Renaissance). 
The Foundation goes back to the year 1225, when the first Cistercian Monastery in Moravia "Vallis s. Mariae" (Mary-Valley), who was ordained in 1228 in the presence of King Premysl Otakar I and his second wife Constance.

This castle was confiscated by the Wehrmacht as Jewish property and was used as army barracks untill 1945.

 Het museum is gevestigd in de historische zalen van het geleidelijk terug Oslavany renaissance kasteel. De stichting gaat terug tot het jaar 1225, toen de eerste cisterciënzer klooster in Moravië "Vallis s. Mariae" (Mary-vallei), die in 1228 werd verordend in aanwezigheid van koning Premysl Otakar I en zijn tweede vrouw Constance.
