Amazing! Wonderful! Fantastic! These were the words we have been using over and over again to describe our time at the Residenza Monteporzano. We are a family of 12! Nana and Papa (Nonna and Nonno), their 3 daughters and the daughters' families. We spent a very lovely week at Monteporzano and felt extremely cared for. We were welcomed very warmly by Guilio and he gave us lots and lots of information about the region, what to see, where to go, how to get there, etc. In fact, we had many emails with Guilio before our visit to arrange our stay (traveling with a group of 12, as you can imagine, is no easy feat), and he was always very responsive and helpful. Through Guilio, we were connected with Chef Fracesco who prepared 3 exquisitely delicious dinners for us during our stay. Our kids ranged from 4 to 21, the adults from 41 to 82 - ALL enjoyed our time there. Three families (two families of 2 and one family of 4) stayed in the awesome villa - 4 bedrooms with private bathrooms and a family room upstairs, kitchen, family room, bathroom downstairs, with direct access to a beautiful terrace and yard. We ate all our meals at the large table out back, stopping every 5 minutes to remark on the breath-taking vistas all around us. Another family of four enjoyed one of the upstairs apartments, with two bedrooms, a large living room and two bathrooms. We all enjoyed the beautiful pool! And when Guilio had to be away, the property manager Daniele took exceptional care of us - one time making reservations for us at a lovely roadside restaurant Cacciatore (on the way to Lake Bolsena) and then calling the restaurant while we were there to ensure we arrived safely and were being treated like royalty!
Residenza Monteporzano is a place we would LOVE to return to again and again.
Thank you Guilio!!!
With much love and gratitude, The Ray Family
