"First the good: the location is wonderful and the Pietro and his wife are very kind. The room is clean and well equipped. We got the impression that the owner may have been burned by previous renters as he was very insistent on points that most VRBO hosts would just leave in a note on the table in the room. Very close to safe public parking, the rooftop terrace is ideal for a sunset glass of wine, while the cafes near the Temple of Apollo offer your morning cappuccino and excellent people watching just steps away from the wonderful market. "The apartment is clean, tidy and very peaceful. It was lovely staying there and the host, Adelaide was very helpful. It is well located on Ortigia and is close to all the local attractions, including the many restaurants. The only, very minor issue during the holiday, was when the wi-fi did not work for several days."
