"Was there for 5 nights in October. Still very warm, air worked great. Spacious and tasteful decor. While I don’t cook while in Italy, there were dishes, fridge and counter/chairs for snacks, wine and contemplation … Can I live here forever? Because of gated courtyard, it was quiet and I felt like a local. Lovely neighbor who I would see around town. Seriously loved every moment 🍷❤️🇮🇹"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! This place is located in a quiet alley in the centre of Ortigia in Siracusa, and is close to everything. We found it perfect for our needs (great bedroom and kitchen and an awesome rooftop patio and upstairs living room). The owner Stefania was really friendly and was extremely helpful. Overall this is one of our all-time favourites. "

However this was my first experience where I did not get my property access details in the promised 24hrs before the allowed check-in time through the Expedia website - I waited a few more hours and then decided to reach out to the provided mobile number via text. After no reply for 3 more hours I then called and nobody...

"Heaven in Ortigia! Carmelo was so kind and responsive. We loved every minute in this thoughtfully appointed, spacious and welcoming home. The location is ideal, with easy walking access to all of Ortigia’s beautiful sights and restaurants, as well as very easily accessible to Siracusa and the train/bus stations by cab (5 minutes, 15 Euro) or foot (15-20 mins). We will always remember our magical stay in Ortigia and we can’t wait to come back to Apollo House. Grazie!!"

"We loved our stay at Ortigia Dreaming. We had a group of 6 that stayed for one week. Rossana was amazing. From the time we booked to after we left, she was very responsive. She provided us with all the information we needed and even help with arranging parking, local tours, and dinner reservations. I would highly recommend booking here if you want to stay in the heart of Ortigia. "
