"The owner was so warm, hospitable, and willing to help with any problems I had. He really went out t of his way to make me feel comfortable and cared for.
Breakfast was wonderful---lots of hotels and cold choices in a clean, cozy breakfast room.
Parking lot was easy to enter and leave with ample space for all cars."

"On the edge of Stromness, so feels like you're in the wilds but within easy walking distance of the town. The accommodation was warm, well-equipped and thoughtful accessories like tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and sweeties were much appreciated."
"Absolutely amazing location, and great host. All the appliances worked (and we cooked frequently in the kitchen that offered space enough for 2 to be comfortable). The bedrooms at the top of the stairs were compact but had a table and chair in each, for those who need laptop or writing space. The living room was cozy. (The toilet was a bit loud, but nothing egregious.)
The LOCATION was fantastic. I was concerned that possibly there would be noise from the harbor across the street…nothing....
