"This was such a wonderful trip - and the cottage is gorgeous. The window over the bay in the living room was a highlight - better than TV! We had everything we needed, and the cottage was beyond our expectations. We hope to be able to return."

"Owner wasn’t expecting us for another day so house had not been cleaned nor linens changed. I called owner, read my booking confirmation, and they got someone out to house to do a quick clean and linen change about bed time. I have read prior reviews by dog owners and they loved it. But there were far too many dog hairs, stains & smells for us. Carpets, sofas, and chairs are filthy even after a thorough vacuuming. A minor point for me was that none of linen matched, not even 2 pillow cases...

"A really lovely, individual and peaceful property which felt like a home from home. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Gorgeous views of Mey Castle from the coastal path. Lots of local walks and coast to enjoy. Dunnet head and beach only 10 minute drive away. The property had everything you could need from a well equipped kitchen to two lovely log burners, one with built in oven (there is also a normal oven in the property). A very helpful and kind owner.
