We are a family of 5 adults, and the property fit us perfectly. Very clean with updated kitchen and bathrooms, and it is a reasonable distance to Bangor and points south.
Three colleagues and I stayed for nearly a week in Chad and Lea's beautiful Cape Cod-style home, and it was perfect for us. The house is newly renovated and immaculately clean, with beautiful finishes throughout. We all slept like rocks in the wonderfully comfortable beds. The location couldn't be better for visiting the U of M campus, or exploring the region. We'll definitely stay again when our work takes us to Maine!
The home is tastefully remodeled, immaculate, and has all the basic necessities. So close to UMaine that it almost felt like we where on campus. Comfortable and spacious interior. Plenty of room, it was just 4 of us so we had 2 extra bedrooms.
We had a very nice 4 night stay at this lovely house in Orono, Maine. We had 3 couples in our group, all in our early 60s. The house met all our needs as it was 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in a 2 story home in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Check-in was easy and the owners promptly responded to all inquiries. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Living room was spacious and comfortable. We never turned on the TV but I assume it worked fine. Only suggestion would be more comfortable chairs at the dining room table. The 4 metal chairs and 2 stools were not very comfortable for the 6 of us but it did not detract from our enjoyment of the house. Overall it was a very nice experience.
Our family of 15 just spent an amazing week in Tuscany at Borgo Castelrotto. It had everything we needed from plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, an awesome kitchen, beautiful grounds and finally an amazing host, Violante, who helped us with questions, bookings and anything else we needed. It’s also a great location for to explore Tuscany with pretty much everything you’d want to see between 20-90 minutes away. Would absolutely stay here again.
This was quite literally the perfect place and fantastic hosts for our stay. I don’t want to leave a review because that means other people are going to learn how great this was and it will be harder for me to book next time hahaha!
We enjoyed our stay and the clean and updated interior of this home. It gave us the room to unwind and relax after spending time exploring all the beauty of Maine. Would recommend to others.
Great location! Easy drive to all our destinations! The place looks brand new and plenty of space for comfort. And thanks for the surprise breakfast and snack foods left for us!
Came here for the UMO graduation. The house was perfect for our needs. Perfect location, large rooms and well kept. The house is deceptive since it looks smaller but it's larger than you expect inside.
Loved our stay! Short walking distance both to the University and to the town center. Its proximity to the interstate made the drive up from Massachusetts quick and painless. We spent two days at Acadia Nat'l Park; the drive from Orono took us through some pretty countryside and villages. The house was immaculate upon arrival, so we could settle right in. Owners responded quickly when we asked about a recycling barrel/bucket. Our only regret is that there wasn't an outdoor grill.
This house was fantastic, the pictures do not do it justice. It is spacious and had everything we needed. All of the choices were excellent and thoughtful! Thank you for the apples and bananas!
We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. I left some placemats for the dining table, whuch was great except the metal chairs. Little hard but serviceable just the same. Lovely home that is deceiving on the outside bigger on the inside and love the set up. Had a fuse blow on our visit and Chad and Lea were very quick to handle it when we messaged. Would definitely stay here again.
This is a beautiful house. Super clean and very comfortable. Quiet street, plenty of off street parking. Had everything we needed. The house is in a great location, easy to get to/from restaurants and the interstate. The owners were very responsive to emails and calls. They were very respectful of those staying in the house (we had 2 people sleeping days and working nights) and made sure to contact us each week, prior to the cleaning staff entering the house. The kitchen had everything we needed and the owners even stocked the fridge with a few breakfast items. Comfortable furnishings and a very pretty backyard to relax in. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to spend anytime in the Orono/Old Town/Bangor area.
We were in town visiting my nephew for a few days and the house was perfect for us. It was very clean, comfortable and modern! We would definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay ~~ decor in home is very nice. We had everything we needed. We had a lot going on in Bangor with family so it was a great location!! Would rent again… Thank you for providing such wonderful accommodations!
This place has been completely renovated and it showed! It is located close to shopping and restaurants and the University of Maine. The beautiful back yard was enjoyed one early morning by a wandering deer. It was the perfect gathering place for my family and we would happily stay here again.
