Only Two Negatives

House next to us, had an extremely noisy party on our last night. Was still going on at 3:30 PM. We found a roach in two of our bedrooms Loved the house, pool and location

Family getaway

We had 17 people total with us. The house was beautiful. My only complaints were: trying to get into the gate the code provided wasn’t correct. I tried to call who we booked through and they kept telling me it was the right code when we spoke to security they gave us the correct one. There is no grill like shown in the photos ( not a huge deal but would be convenient for such a large group! If you go in cold weather you would have to buy the pool heating because it was like ice cold and the hot tub is not automatically heated! ( just wasn’t aware in order to have a heated hot tub you have to buy the heated pool for the week). Plenty of room for the entire family in the house with two bedrooms extra! The upstairs projector tv lagged pretty bad so we couldn’t watch anything without it buffering. And the last thing was the washer stopped working several times( I also called the company to get further instructions) we ended up figuring it out. The house itself is beautiful, the location is good as well! Just some minor issues!

Kissimmee’s Terrible wifi

Terrible internet service. The worst I’ve seen. I believe I saw a grill online. When I called to confirm, I was told no grill on site.

Garbage

The house is nice and we have all facilities, but we have 2 issues. Access code is not working when we arrived and it was changed again after 3 days. We found trash not packed in the garbage bin outside the house.

Not 100% satisfied

Love the property. We always stay at Windsor by westside. But we did have a few issues at this home. we paid for our pool to be heated it never got warm. I notified Vacasa multiple times after the 5th day I requested my money back. They said someone came out and verified it was turned on but apparently it wasn’t working right m. I was told it would take 24 hours to warm up and day 5 it was still the same as day 1.. waiting to get my money back. One of the king beds didnt have a box spring my daughter and her husband said they could feel all the boards when they slept. The grill and the arcade game was not apart of the amenities. Wasn’t impressed with that. Why have them at the home if your renters can’t use them….

Devil is in the Details

Pros: ▪︎ Pretty close to the community pool. ▪︎ Big spaces to gather in the house. ▪︎ The house pool was nice. ▪︎ Pool table was excellent very level with 5 pool cues in excellent condition. ▪︎ The house was pretty clean. Some of the lamps did have cobwebs. Cons: ▪︎ The AC was set to 76 when we go there and took a whole day to get to 72. ▪︎ Many of the rooms did not cool down below 80 degrees in the 4 days. ▪︎ The arcade game in the garage had to be turned off and back on every time you wanted to try a new game. ▪︎ The air hockey table wasn't level. ▪︎ The Xbox had one functioning controller with no back plate to stop batteries from falling out. The 2nd controller didn't connect. ▪︎ The PS4 didn't have a functioning controller at all. So it was useless. ▪︎ The upstairs projector didn't have its remote. So we couldn't watch movies. ▪︎ 2 can openers but neither worked. ▪︎ The check-in instructions say go to the clubhouse. The club house staff acted like I was insane for asking to check in. ▪︎ The cleaning staff was there until 4:10. We showed up 10 minutes early hoping they would be gone and we can get in a little early. ▪︎ Internet is terrible, lucky to get 2MB/sec on any device. ▪︎ Bath towels were soft but were decorative they left lint all over everyone and were terrible at drying anything off. ▪︎ 1 roll of paper towels for a 9 bedroom house for 4 days. ▪︎ The pool safety gate was not anchored on either end and there was one post missing in the middle. The 4 year old pulled them out with little trouble. ▪︎ The pool did get cloudy after 1 day of use. Not sure if it was us ▪︎ The refrigerator needed a new water filter from when we got there. ▪︎ There were kids cups and plates but they look beat up. When you advertise these things you expect to be able to take full advantage of them with confidence they will work and you will have a very enjoyable time. When many of the bonus features that led you to pick the house don't function, it is really frustrating. We had lots of kids and not having video games and arcades working it was annoying. We paid a premium price to stay in a house that had these features. Develop a checklist before the next checking to ensure everything is functioning as it should.

Family Vacation

We have become somewhat frequent vacation home renters through VRBO. Todays all have had an owner or manager to message with any issues. That wasn’t the case with this home as it is managed by Vacasa, which didn’t deter us from renting. The home itself is exactly as pictured and clean. If I were eating the home itself it would definitely be a 4 or 5. However, little about the neighborhood and rules are accurate. These are all larger homes maybe 5 to 8 ft apart. Cars clog the street constantly even though it’s said to only allow two per home. The house’s on each side of us we’re loaded and quiet time was usually 3 or 4 AM. It is gated but any car pulling up to the gate activates it to open or close. Taking the dog out one night I unintentionally interrupted a couple neighbors smoking a blunt by the pool equipment and neighbors on the other side freely smoking weed out by there pool as the party boomed. Unimpressed, and will probably stick to homes with a owner or manager as a contact in the future. Vacasa contact was not what I’m used too. I’m sure I still have unanswered messages and emails. Other than the nice house, this was like vacationing in the hood.

Family vacation

After 2 long years of covid my family finally got together to enjoy the holiday. It was the first time I spent quality time with my 7 grandchildren. We loved the house, whoever I dealt with were very pleasant overall experience was awesome

Excellent Vacay Stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. Rated less for communication, partial to my own service issues in the residence too level. Be sure to read amenities not included to ensure you have those items available for use, like grill access and heated pool. Otherwise you are good to go.

Must stay

I’ve stayed in a lot of properties in Orlando/Kissimmee area over the years and this one is by far my favorite one. Perfect for children and adults. I added it to my favorites and will continue to stay here on my future trips.

Awesome home!!

My family absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay at Windsor Mansion!!! Plenty of room for large family!!! Only 30 minutes to Universal Studios Theme Parks and 20 minutes to Disney World Theme Parks.

Overall great house. Needed to buy some essentials like toilet paper and kitchen towels though.

Giant tv didn’t work upstairs needed a new light bulb replaced. Kids were disappointed they didn’t get to watch a movie on it.

Great Place for a Family Stay-cation

The house met my expectations as far as what was advertised, however; I was not please with the parking accommodations. The instructions that were provided pertaining to parking were outdated and did not apply. There were other communication documents that were emailed that were out of date or did not apply to this community. There were several pool towels, however; the number of wash cloths provided were not sufficient for the numbers of residents the property accommodates. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we would gladly rent again.

Orlando Trip

Property was everything promised. Clean, and large enough to accommodate large family. Loved that it was pet friendly and had a pool for the kids. The only misnomer I had is that you had to get with the property manager to heat the pool and spa. Would defiantly rent this property again.

Overall Very Pleased

The home was clean and well stocked with amenities. Plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable, both indoors and out on the patio. The BBQ grill was a bit of a tease though, as it was locked and the property manager said we could not rent it because it belonged to the owner. Carafe of the coffee maker was cracked and leaks, so no coffee either. Other than that, was very pleased with the property itself. The neighborhood security gate was a bit of a joke though. They only asked for the address and checkout date without checking IDs or anything. Then you just follow other cars through the gate, since it stays open for about 6 vehicles at a time.

Beautiful home. Can't wait until my next stay in Kississimmee.

The entire process was very easy. We chose the house, asked a few questions to which we received a rapid response, made the payment and waited for the date to arrive. The kitchen area, entertainment area, bath and bedrooms, more than accommodated our group. You'll love this property.

Not as advertised

Advertised arcade did not work. Called and came out abs said they were broken. No ac in game room. Specifically asked before renting. Called they said oh suppose you be there. 100” tv not working. Took box from bedroom to make it work. So bedroom had no tv. And to top it all off tefrigeator stopped working 2 days into 5 day stay. Ramon came out said yep it’s broken we will send appliance repairman. No one ever showed up or called. We lost all our groceries. False advertising. No follow through. Very disappointed. Will not use your service again. Unacceptable and unprofessional. 1 star is too much.

Great property awesome property manager

We enjoyed our stay in this house and it had plenty of room for me and my family. You never have to worry if you have a problem the property manager respond quickly and will even come to the house herself to make sure everything is done to your standard.
