This gorgeous, lakefront cottage is the perfect spot for you and your family to get away. This cottage is part of a set of three and can be rented on its own or in combination with the others for larger groups. Inside the home, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen for easy meal preparation and plenty of space for both dining and relaxing! Enjoy lake views from every window or from the furnished deck (complete with a gas grill). All of this is nestled in a quiet cove, with deep water off the dock, perfect for a day of swimming or fishing. In the evenings, kick back with a glass of wine and soak up the sunset views.

This darling cottage sits 30 feet from the water's edge on the northern shores of Toddy Pond, four miles east of Orland's town center. You'll enjoy the close proximity to Bangor (only 26 miles north), the majestic trails and coastlines of Acadia National Park (30 miles southeast), and all the wonderful shopping and dining options in Bar Harbor (33 miles southeast). Visiting birders will also be within earshot of the local loons!

This cottage can be rented along with Lake View Cottage and Lake Time Cottage as Lakeside Cottages on Toddy Pond to accommodate larger groups.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

My mom, sister and I enjoyed a fantastic week here. Great communication with property managers throughout. Loads of clean linens and towels in both bathrooms. Comfortable queen beds and big dressers to use. The views are amazing!

Overall our stay at the property was disappointing. When we arrived the house had a strong odor. And had some areas that were not very clean. Also no means of locking any deadbolts on the three doors made us feel unsafe. We shared these concerns with Vacasa management and they were not helpful. Concerning these issues they told us they would send a key to the deadbolts, a humidifier to help with the smell and someone to clean the areas that needed cleaning. None of this ever happened. To add to this the smell never cleared out. We used Lysol and purchased a candle to help us out. It seems like wet/rotten wood smell. The washing machine was also broken causing us to leave with a trash bag full of soaked clothes. Main bathroom has miss sized toilet seat. Home is missing random areas of base boards. This home has a lot of potential, and I’m willing to overlook some issues. The odor was the biggest issue, and the lack of help from Vacasa just made it worse. This home is missing an “Owners” touch. I know better next time to stay clear of Vacasa.

Loved the home on the lake! Great functioning kitchen with all the necessaries WiFi was great. Only thing we girls missed was a throw blanket in the Big room which we loved to hang out with all the windows and skylights during the rainy afternoons Thank you! Would recommend this home

We just loved our time at this beautiful lakeside home. The view from the main floor bedroom is spectacular! We had a cozy fire outside our first night around their fire pit. Incredible view with the stars above and the moon shining over the lake. The living area was comfortable and everything was very clean. Communication with Casa was perfect. I would definitely come back for a return visit!

This rental was a dream! The house itself is fantastic with 2 bedrooms full of windows looking out to the lake. The kitchen was well stocked with all the things we needed to make grilled cheese and tomato soup! The water got and stayed and very hot for showers and dishes and the washer and dryer were very convenient. The highlight of this property is of course the lake! Every morning we would gather on the dock for coffee and to watch my 10 year old get in a morning swim. We would have loved to use the fire pit but stayed too long in Acadia National Park that day. I have already recommended this property to several people and hope to be back.

the home is not being managed well. The home is at a beautiful location but smells musty and housekeeping is not cleaning bugs and spiders. There's a drainage issue in all sinks causing a fungus fly infestation. Also many of the white towels were stained (one looked like blood) or totally brown. New towels were brought thankfully that were better. The lower level toilet seat is dirty and chipping. How hard is it really to replace a toilet seat? Top floor shower and toilet was cleanest but very tiny with sloped ceiling hard for tall people to use. Deck could be lovely to sit on but not cleaned. In pictures the kitchen cabinets are photoshopped white but in reality are yellowed and sticky from not being cleaned. One side of the sink is totally stained brown. Beds are very uncomfortable too. The location is beautiful and if management would clean and fix pretty simple issues it could be a great place to stay but wouldn't book it again unless those changes are made.
