"The hotel offers a very good AM buffet in the main dining room that seems price inclusive for most guests. Their evening menu offers a nice range of food options but I was disappointed in the recommended lamb dish which was a bit undercooked with a hint of tired butter or grease in the sauce. My wife fared better with arctic char. Weekend table service seemed a bit spotty as well. Rooms are super clean, well appointed with nice shelving, and the beds are very comfortable with euro style individual duvets for cover. Would absolutely stay here again if we do a return visit to Iceland as the location is quite convenient for South Island tourist destinations and the hotel is superb!"

"Was a great stay with great service and a beautiful location with all the necessities you need! The bathroom is a little dated but other than that it was perfect. My family loved it and we found it so spacious. We only stayed one night but could have easily stayed longer if it fit our schedule."

"We were checking in late and I received a call to give me Instructions on check in, door code etc. when we arrived the lobby was closed and dark. There was a personal note on the desk with tea lights with our room number and key, breakfast info etc. There were snacks left out for us. Fruit, cakes, juice etc. The room was very spacious, clean, furniture mismatched, making it charming and eclectic! Beds were very comfortable. Very nice sitting areas off lobby with books and games. Did not use hot tub due to late arrival. Free breakfast was plentiful, with much variety. We stayed in a different hotel every night while in Iceland, and this was our favorite. In the middle of nowhere it was a true hidden gem. The personal phone call from the manager to confirm our arrival and leaving us snacks was awesome. There’s a lot to be said for the little things.The personal service was top notch. Morning clerk was a lovely young lady, very helpful to all the guests. Loved our stay, would definitely stay again. Such a wonderful. "
