"From first booking, Marc's communication was excellent. The castles location is oustanding being some considerable distance from any major road making it an excellent place for peace and tranquillity. The only sound was cowbells and local wildlife . There is a very good rustic hostel a very short drive or walk away although all the amenities to cater for yourself. "We had a great time staying in this amazing house. The lintel over the front door indicates it was built in 1776, but step inside and it’s uncompromisingly modernist – the glass staircase is particularly exciting, and it’s fun to shower in the middle of a big room. The house is very spacious, so the 6 of us were able to spread out. It is situated on the edge of the village, so very quiet, and with great views over the countryside.
