"Area was absolutely beautiful.... Cabins were alright had a few minor issues such as sink constantly dripping and cold water valve in shower was not working. Other then that had a great time. Both cafe's next door are great and very conveniently located."

"Wonderful little cottage and yard. Great location. Four of us on fun sewing/quilting retreat. Great quality bedding, towels, amenities. Well stocked kitchen, top grade appliances. Could use a little TLC. Very dirty ceiling vent in living room, probably needs new filter in otherwise well functioning heating system. One bedroom door nearly off hinges!! Definitely needs fixing!! Otherwise it was fine. We’d stay there again (if heating system/ducts serviced)."

"This VRBO is a wonderful alternative to typical accommodations in Brookings. Private river access on the peaceful Chetco River. A sweet cottage with a full, well appointed kitchen. You can prepare your own meals or take a 10 minute drive into town to a variety of restaurants and ocean beaches. Dog friendly. Very comfortable accommodations. Hostess is delightful. Quiet location. We slept well."

"Easy access to walk everywhere. It accomodated our needs for a weekend getaway. Great that we could bring our pups! We arrived in town several hours sooner than expected though, and had to wait until check in time for access. They syated that the unit wasn't ready. However, we could see that no one was in the unit cleaning, and no one showed up to prepare it while we were waiting to check in. I would have been willing to pay an early check in fee so that we had access. That was the only bummer....

"Thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and time to spend with family. We loved the time with our 8 month old granddaughter. We left a few paper bags of recycling in laundry room. Don’t see a specified container for recycling items. You should consider better instructions. If it works out, we would come again. We appreciated the cleanliness. We took advantage of the lovely kitchen, dining and living room areas. We left used sheets and towels in respective rooms."

"Auntie's house was overall a nice place to stay, it was spacious enough for our party of 4, all amenities were in good working condition and everything was relatively clean. The only thing I would say was not up to par was the floor, though it looked clean there was quite a lot of dog hair, stuck to socks and anything that was set on the floor, There was also some human hair on some of the towels. I would be careful leaving food out as there were ants that found our cooler bag and were...

"This place is super cute. We loved being so close to everything. We could walk to everything on the main road in Depot Bay."

"Beautiful modernized cabin in a wooded setting with ocean views. The cabin is off a main road and there is a neighboring property, however, road noise is faint and the cabin is set lower so the majority of views are only of trees and ocean. There is a path down to the beach. Second time we’ve stayed here and once again enjoyed it very much."

"I did not expect to basically have a one bedroom apartment that was really nice. View of the beach was amazing and literally right outside. Downside, pillows like rocks, and noisy. Can't blame the hotel for the noise, its the people who don't follow the rules. Looks like some work either needs to be done or is being done on the pathways to the beach but again, that is to be expected, this place is right on the beach."
