"Clean, quiet, close to all the things! "

"This hotel is in the process of a renovation, it's obvious the new owners are making needed improvements. Had a great stay, so enjoyed the balcony overlooking the Promenade and beach - always something to see during the Summer. Beds were clean and comfortable. Having a kitchenette was very convenient and it was a very spacious room. Fantastic to hear the waves at night and watch the bonfires. The hotel location is fabulous for Seaside. Negatives: Noise - lots of families with young kids. The walls and floors don't muffle active kids from jumping around. The pool was heavily used, so I passed on that. The glass wall on the balcony was distractingly dirty, I cleaned it a few times myself since the seagulls seemed to target it during our stay. Finally, the room had a air freshener/ grandma scent to it which I noticed too often. It's an old hotel that has a lot of great features and is being fixed up. "

"The staff was extremely friendly! The property was right on the beach and was quiet and clean! They had salmon chowder and cookies everyday and left salt water taffy in the rooms! We really enjoyed our stay!"
