"My husband and I enjoyed a 3 week stay at La Casetta. Paolo and Tania were very helpful in all respects. The garden and grounds were really well maintained. However we felt the picture on the website showing La Fornace del Borgo all lit up was misleading as the restaurant complex was empty and shut down waiting for a buyer. We thought it was more suited to two people...and finally thank Paolo for his immediate response to any query."

"The apartment was well renovated and comfortable. It was a convenient location for sightseeing in the region, as Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Chianti are all easily accessible. However, my husband and I were disappointed to find that there were many apartments on the farm, not just three, with another part of the property divided by a low wall. Nicely appointed apartment within the town very close to the best little restaurants and architectural features of San Gimignano. After a day of strolling around it was very relaxing to get back to and quiet in spite of being right in the middle of everything. "The photos don't capture the incredible 360 degree views. The complimentary tour with wine and olive tasting was exceptional. The apartment is rustic, as pictured, but could use a deep cleaning.The 500 cypress tree lined road winding up to the property only adds to the adventure. There was a very bad storm that took out the electricity. Sabrina and Fabrizio did all they could to make sure all the guests were comfortable."

There were good facilities to cook for ourselves if we wanted to, and the pool area and private garden were great for relaxing.
