"Have stayed here a few times, and love it. Really handy to everything.
The food in the restaurant is fantastic, and there’s a nice fire in the bar - it’s gas, but still gives you the lovely ambience.
Rooms are basic, but clean and the bed is very comfortable.
Just a couple of things to be aware of; there is absolutely no way you can get into your room before the 2pm check-in time - no big deal, we just went into the bar for a couple of drinks by the fire!
The other thing to be aware of is that our friends parked in the carpark adjacent to the hotel carpark and were told by the lady at reception that that was fine, they could park there as long as they wanted. Turns out they couldn’t, and they copped a $143 parking fine on returning to their car! It put a little bit of a damper on what was otherwise a brilliant couple of days in Orange.
Apart from these 2 things - which won’t be a problem if you’re aware of them - the hotel is brilliant, and we will definitely be coming back."
