The hosts are great as far as communication goes. The location is great as well, just a short walk to downtown are and the grocery store (Whole Foods). One little thing, the apartment is a bit small for a group larger than 2 which is hard to see from the pictures, so it was a bit tight when our daughter came to join us for a day. However...

"We arrived just prior to midnight at the property. It was difficult to locate. The grass was knee high and garbage on the front porch. We had no where else to go. The patio was dirty and unkempt. "We had a fantastic stay at Casita Gundry! Check in was so easy and we were exhausted after a late flight in from the east coast. Imagine our delight when we woke up the next morning to eggs and incredible pastries waiting for us in the fridge. It was such a blessing to take breakfast off our plate...or put it on rather. LOL Plus the home was just 3 mins from our family we were there to visit - we will absolutely be back!"

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The property was nice and very close to the Long Beach Convention center. Basically, it only took 4-5 minutes to walk there from the dock. Additionally, there are several restaurants and a few shops in the immediate vicinity. The primary concerns were the number of homeless people surrounding the area and the somewhat limited parking for overnight accommodations. Overall, it was a memorable experience. "
