Peacefully secluded, you'll be surrounded by coastal walks and just a 10-minute walk from the local general store. Drop your bags and stroll across the road for a dip in the ocean before returning home to enjoy stretching views from your private balcony. Make use of the fully equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ to cook up a beachside feast and settle in with a movie on the sofa come evening.
Enter on the ground floor where you’ll find two spacious bedrooms sleeping four guests, each with a queen-size bed. Upstairs, you’ll be greeted by an open-plan living and dining area and a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals at home, while extensive glazing offers panoramic views overlooking the Derwent River and Mt. Wellington beyond.

Dine at the six-seater table while you take in the peaceful scenery, or head out to your private balcony to cook up a BBQ lunch while you enjoy refreshing ocean breezes and the sound of gently lapping waves. The living area includes plenty of seating for leisurely afternoons spent kicking back with a movie, or making use of the board games and reading material available. Two sofas and a chaise offer breathtaking views of the bay. Stay cosy year-round with the dual-purpose reverse cycle heat pump, which provides both heating and air conditioning. For added warmth, you'll find panel heaters in the two downstairs bedrooms.

The generous bathroom, located downstairs, is immaculately appointed with an overhead shower and complimentary toiletries for you to refresh and unwind after a day at the beach. A washing machine is located in the downstairs laundry, while additional conveniences include Wi-Fi and parking for two cars on the premises.

This property is advertised as an "entire home," but the top floor is locked for the owner's use and inaccessible to the guests. The kitchen and living room are on the second floor with a nice view. However, the two bedrooms and the bathroom are located behind the garage. Bedroom 1 faces a view of trash bins, and Bedroom 2 faces a water tank. Both bedroom window handles were broken, so there was no ventilation throughout our 4-night stay. The downstairs area, including the bedrooms, has no air conditioning. The mirrored wardrobe shown in the main bedroom's photo is actually a laundry room, not a built-in robe. In the kitchen, the water reservoir of the coffee machine contained algae, which was extremely off-putting. On the second night, the electric heater provided by the host exploded less than an hour used. Caused a total power outage across the house, including all lights, power outlets, and water supply. We sent an urgent message to the host, but they never responded. We had to wait over 10 hours without electricity before resolving the issue ourselves by searching online. Additionally, ongoing construction across the street started as early as 6 AM, making it impossible to sleep or relax during our stay. Upon checking in, we requested a refund and check-out due to the property's condition and false advertising, but the host denied our request and offered no compensation. If you want your holiday ruined, this is the place to stay.
