"This is a charming property. The main building is very modern, but comfortable, with lovely decor and great beds. The exterior rooms in the older part of the property are classically exposed stone walls and wooden beams, rely on single wall heaters, and also have very comfy beds. Our family had a fantastic experience, though did move from an exterior room with terrace to an interior room with no terrace to be warmer. (It was December and literally freezing outside!) we found the entire staff to be warm and accommodating, and loved the dinner menu. Breakfast wasn’t quite worth it to us, but that is personal preference based on having other outstanding breakfasts in France. Can’t recommend this wonderful place highly enough!"

"Nathalie was cheerful and helpful, making us feel completely at home and Tanguy was exceptionally quick to respond to a small problem. The super king sized beds were ultra comfortable. A bedroom downstairs was particularly useful for one of our group with limited mobility. The accommodation was spacious and imaginatively decorated. Situated a few hundred steps from the Loire, many historic sites were within easy reach by car. We had a super stay."

"This inn is quiet in a small town near Amboise. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The A/C worked great for the warm evenings. The front desk was helpful making reservations and assisting our visit. "

"5mn walk to Domaine Chaumont chateau. Extrememy peacefull and well maintained. A little bit difficult to find even with the GPS but worth the 10mn détour. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The dining option at the Grand Chaume was a wonderful experience with a Chef trained by a Michelin star. It was a off season peak we avoided the crowd with a beautiful early blue sky and flowers."
