"Wir waren zum 3. Mal in Donego und haben besonders auch die Neuerungen sehr genossen: endlich W-lan im Paradies. Zum 1. Mal waren wir im August dort, für mich leider etwas heiß nachts - aber endlich schwimmen im Lago! Das Haus ist ein Traum, wenn man/frau bereit ist alles per Schubkarre an die hohen Treppen zu fahren. "Gianni and his wife were lovely hosts in this quiet respite of a location near Lago Maggiore. We had a short stay but hope to return soon. The apartment is spacious and very clean. You have everything you need but a car is suggested for getting groceries or visiting the nearby villages."

"Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Das Haus liegt abseits von allem in einem kleinen Ort in den Bergen. Man gelangt nur zu Fuß über einen kleinen, etwas steileren Bergstieg dorthin, so dass Rucksack statt Koffer benutzt werden sollten. Aber der Aufstieg lohnt sich -> das Haus ist super sauber und schön und hat alles, was man braucht. Ich war mit meinen drei Kindern Dortmund es war. Super!"

"Sehr schön gelegenes Haus in lebendigem, sympathischen Ort. Das Haus ist geräumig und gut aufgeteilt. Wir hatten beide Wohnungen für zwei Familien gemietet. Gemütlichkeit ist nicht die Stärke des Hauses, bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten (Sofa, Sessel, Liegestühle...) für alle Gäste gemeinsam gibt es weder drinnen noch draußen. Draußen gäbe es auf dem Grundstück leider auch keinen schönen Ort, wo man sie aufstellen könnte. Die Küchenausstattung ist äußerst dürftig, teils in schlechtem Zustand (blechiges...

There is a local shop, but I would recommend doing most of your shopping for your stay before coming up the valley. Nice garden and patio area. If you have small children the parking could be an issue. It is not far away, but there is no pavement and you have to walk several 100 metres on a busy road.
