"The cottage was clean, cozy, and much larger than I expected! It was in a fairly out of the way location (but not far at all from Oban) that was great for avoiding city traffic. Our host Maureen was very nice and friendly and If/when we travel back to Scotland, and plan on visiting Oban, we would happily stay here again."

"My family had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house is very well stocked. The location is beautiful, and remote with lovely hikes. It’s about 30 minutes into Oban with a lot to do there and restaurants. We would stay again"

"Stayed for a week in this cottage with fabulous views. Very clean and just about everything you need. We were only missing a corkscrew and egg cups, but anything else you need is there. Not quite as homely as we would have hoped as the cottage is quite sparse, but still had a wonderful time. Great to be able to access the canal and take a nice long walk to Neptune’s staircase from the cottage!"

"The approach to the property alone sets the scene for an experience. The property is lovely with so much room and many amenities. The view across the loch was breathtaking. Lucky enough to see deer and seals from the bedroom windows. The house stayed warm through the storms which even for the area were pretty extreme according to the locals. Absolutely nothing requires complaint it was a brilliant property. Definitely great for hide and seek lol"

Immaculate, roomy, with easy access to the roads to take our family of five on many hikes and adventures while having a cozy home base to return to when we were done with our day. "This was a beautiful house in gorgeous Glencoe with impressive views and stunning hiking and walks on our doorstep. The house itself was spotless and very well-equipped. There were nice touches like extra umbrellas, tea/coffee, books and a couple of board games. There were seven of us in our group, and there was more than enough room for us. "7 of us stayed here for the last week of summer and we had an amazing time. The house was the perfect location, with comfortable beds and stunning views from the upstairs bedrooms. The kitchen facilities were perfect for what we needed- recommend bringing a food shop with you as the closest supermarket is a while away but the local co-op was perfect for bits and bobs we’d forgotten. "Our stay at Dallachulish Lodge exceeded all expectations. Dorothy and Ross were friendly, responsive and eager to help. I can't come up with the words to describe how beautiful the setting along the lake was. We spent a week here using the house as a base to explore the Highlands.
