"Easy access to ferry port was met and shown round the house which was very clean and had everything we needed. Use of garden on the sunny days was good. Showers beds and accommodation was to a very good standard. We were a party of 3 couples with push bikes. Would certainly book again"

"Very well located: close to the sea, a bit secluded and yet the bakery still within walking distance. Cap La Hague itself has a great, varied coastline that is good for hiking and there are good restaurants. The heating didn't work at the beginning of our stay and despite the rainy weather, Philippe came immediately to get everything working again. Overall, we had a wonderful time in this very special place."

"Vues sur mer de tous côtés. Descriptif correspondant à la réalité. Bon rapport qualité-prix. Balades à proximité et la plupart des choses à voir à moins d'une heure, du cap de La Hague à l'Ouest à Utah Beach à l'Ouest en passant par Cherbourg (cité de la Mer) et Cap Lévi tout près, Barfleur, La Hougue.... Une véranda du tonnerre pour admirer le paysage et passer les heures de pluie à l'abri avec un bon bouquin ou des jeux de société, et prendre ses repas. Particulièrement appréciée cette semaine...

"Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances aux Pieux. La maison est très grande, très agréable avec une grande véranda et un magnifique jardin. Elle est très bien située au centre des Pieux, à proximité de tous les commerces et proche de la brasserie des Travailleurs de l'amer et de ses excellentes boissons. La plage est à environ 3 km et il a fait un temps superbe. C'est un gîte que je recommande."

L'emplacement est très bien, juste au bord de la mer, la route adjacente est très calme, et la belle plage d'Urville Nacqueville juste à côté. "The house is modern and equipped with all of the essentials and much more. Beds are comfortable and clean. Beautiful garden and a fabulous sandy beach just a few minutes walk. The location is served by local shops and a bar/restaurant with a basic menu but the food is superbly cooked and is also fairly inexpensive."

My only slight negative comments would be that the 4 single beds are really suitable for children rather than adults and that one of the electric radiators in the living room doesn’t appear to be working which would make the room hard to heat in the the depths of winter if needed.
