Hotel De Bilderberg

"Very cute hotel in a beautiful area with loads of trees and nature. The historical museum re the 1944 Market Garden history is very close by and was one of the best museums I have seen. There are great restaurants around as well. This hotel is just a quick 15-minute bus ride to Arnhem which is a cute smaller city with loads of great restaurants. The hotel has a restaurant which has a wonder buffet breakfast that won't disappoint. The restaurant also has service Monday - Saturday in the evening. We stayed on Sunday night so were not able to try out the restaurant's food in the evening. The hotel is wonderfully set up with loads of areas for a nice coffee or drink. The only thing is the hotel does not have air-conditioning. So, the room was a bit warm even with the fan. We didn't mind but for some people this may be difficult."

"We stayed at the wonderful Eye Hotel for seven nights in July. We were so happy we chose this hotel as our home base as we toured Utrecht and did day trips to Amsterdam, Delft, and more. The Eye Hotel is in a great area which we found to be very central and within walking distance of amenities. Slightly tucked away on a quieter street, it was nice to be away from the noisy areas but still feel like we were in a hip spot. The hotel and room itself were wonderful! Very clean and more than enough room for two - we stayed on the second floor. Air conditioning was very much appreciated. Although we didn’t have the breakfast which looked great, the free lattes and cappuccinos in the morning were a great way to start the day. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back again in the near future."

"Excellent green environmental ideas regarding the daily cleaning of the rooms. Staff always very polite and extremely helpful. Plentiful outdoor seating on the terrace. Good air conditioning in the room, would definitely recommend."

"+ Excellent spacious bathroom with separate walk-in shower + Good breakfast buffet, lots of choice, excellent bread selection + Easy access from station - Although bedroom had a kettle, there were very few teabags/coffee sachets provided, also no mugs! Used glasses from bathroom to brew up -Swimming pool is quite small, no bathrobes provided in rooms so have to get changed in pool area using the single changing room"
