Omak Has some good amenities but it is beginning to have some of the same issues as many bigger cities in Washington. More homelessness and people with drug addiction.

"Quiet area that conveniently has Subway on one side and a nice Mexican restaurant on the other side.... "i’ve been going to Omak on an annual fishing trip for 20 years, and until i found this place,lodging was worst part. it’s a great little house, in a great location. it’s my 2nd time staying here and i have no complaints."

We've been to Omak once before so this was a return visit. We love the beauty that surrounds the entire area. There are also many places to shop and dine. The small town atmosphere is fun for us to experience since we come from the city.

We shopped at Walmart and enjoyed it. Got my sugarless cake mixes that are not available in Canada. Enjoyed our Mexican dinner in a wonderful, friendly restaurant downtown on Main St., Omak.
