The mini-water park pool was fun for our kids. The late checkout relieved morning pressure. BUT, overall the property seemed uncared-for. Hinges, doorknobs, shower curtain rod all needed repairs. Deep grime was present in many places. And though staff were nice, they looked like they just climbed out of bed in baggie t-shirts and sweats.

The parking lot of property was really bad, garbage everywhere, even by the front door which you think would be a no-brainer to clean. Also, signage from main road is contradictory as it looks like there is a restaurant spot for lease but makes it appear like it's hotel.

There was crusty gunk on our headboard and I could tell someone just put the pillows there to hide it. It came off pretty easily so it would have wiped off easily. Breakfast was okay at best. Dining room was very messy. The staff seemed to be trying their best in their areas.

cleaner around the front doors. Could you move the smoking area so it is not located by the front door? I understand that you have to have an area but not ideal for your guest to walk through smoke to enter the building.

We did not get housekeeping service in the first two days. Apparently housekeeping only comes to your room is you request it. After we spoke to the front desk, everything was fine.
