"The staff was excellent. Location is superb! Right next to a Metro station and 2 blocks from the White House. The air conditioning wasn’t blowing cold air but they fixed it asap. The room was a little cozy but ok. Housekeeping every day."

"Location is its best feature along with helpfulness of staff. The breakfast area is the weak point, but as it is not included in the room fee, it can be avoided. Overall, the location cannot be beat for the price in comparison to other hotels in the area. There are no stellar views, but this is not likely a vacation hotel. It's a highly functional hotel where you can avoid needing a car-priceless in DC."

"It’s a great building it’s an older building that more kept lovely and charming. The rims were spacious clean and the amenities were very nice but stay there again."

"The Darcy is nice enough, but the bathrooms and hallways are quite small and the mattresses (I was in room 438) are a bit saggy and overly soft. I will probably try another place next time. But the location and staff are very good."
