"Beautiful guest house which has been lovingly restored. The staff are very friendly and gave us some great recommendations. The guest house was, had everything we needed and felt safe. We had a beautiful rooftop terrace which was great to sit in with a glass of wine in the afternoon. The breakfast had a wonderful selection of fresh fruit, breads and cheeses. The location felt safe and is within walking distance of the main harbour with plenty of restaurants and bars. We had a wonderful visit and will definitely return in the future."

"Amazing small hotel room good breakfast good staff amazing reception one of the most kind and helpful i have met .location close to alloa centre and port 10 mins and youre in the lovely old town bus station 1 minute train station 5 mins walking a 10 minute train ride youre in faro .superb local well priced food i loved every minute i am old 65 and a single traveller the hotel made me so welcome thank you.i highly reccomend this hotel als the taxi firm the hotel use run by hugo brilliant friendly informative superb "

"The property is not as presented. The house I stayed in was utilitarian at best. There were no amenities and the pool is off property. That being said, there was hot water and the bed was comfortable. When I checked in the host said “It’s not the Sheraton” and I agree. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it. "

"We were a family of seven adults and six kids ages 7 months to 10 years the villa was equipped with everything we needed also high chair and baby cot games for outdoor play lg pool area plenty sun loungers and beach towels check in and communication was very efficient we only had two minor things we feel could have improved on .the bedding I assume was new for every check in but i personally prefer pillow slips and duvet covers and there was no spare bedding and travelling with kids you never know but overall I would still give my stay 10/10"

"Better than expectations. Brigh, clean, airy. Friendly and helpful staff. Decor and architecture exceptional. Lovely roof terrace. Location right in the centre within a short walk from the train station, the island ferries, the central market, good restaurants and bars and a small supermarket. "
