"I thought this place was perfect for a solo traveler. It gives options to meet people in the lobby by the cool bar they have if you want. Staff was excellent, free water and Coca Cola in fridge was great, and even though I had to check out early, they packed a breakfast for me! It was a clean room and I liked the bathroom. "

"I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the apartment interior reflected it's antique surroundings. It's always a bummer when you find an old inn and the inside is decorated in modern furnishings. Beds are comfortable and there is enough storage. Bedrooms are separated with private bath down the hall. Breakfast is also very nice. We did not get a chance to have other meals here."

"A hidden gem in Lezzeno. I had a great Lake front room. The rooms are clean, updated and has everything you need including a refrigerator. Easy parking if you have car. A 10 minute walk to catch a ferry to any of the other cute towns. The breakfast overlooking the lake is wonderful with an assortment of choices and they will make you a latte!!"

"The hotel/guesthouse is easily reached from the centre of Milan by metro followed by a short walk (past a nice bakery). Il Girasole looks unconventional, being a converted factory building. A nice courtyard is hidden behind a metal entrance door. Matteo and his brother are extremely nice hosts, who can provide enthusiastic advice on sightseeing in Milan. "Location is extremely close to train station which makes it a breeze getting in and out of Milan. Staff was nice, apartment had amazing views and well stocked with everything you could need. "It was a good choice for a family of four. Very near our friends at the Hyatt, the train station and metro lines to attractions and shopping. Restaurants and cafes on the same block were excellent as was the "food court" at the train station. There were some maintenance issues that they seemed eager to correct, so I hope they did. Apartment smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, but was supposed to be non-smoking. The A/C and washing machine worked great!"
