"Tenuta Cusmano was a highlight in our 11 day trip to Italy. It's an easy drive from the Rome Ciampino airport. Grottaferrata is a charming town, just a few short minutes from Tenuta Cusmano. We took a taxi to the neighboring town of Frascati everyday to catch the train into metropolitan Rome. The train was easy to navigate, and allowed us to leave our car at Tenuta Cusmano every day, so as to avoid the ZTLs. We stayed three nights. "We've had a lovely stay at this villa. Best way I can describe it is as an authentic Italian experience well away from tourists and the beaten track. Easy to get to Rome though ( train from Zagarolo ) and we can recommend the Hydromania water park too, a 40 minute drive away. We spent most of our time relaxing and the pool was brilliant for our children and we hardly spent any time indoors. A big thanks to the owner PierPaolo and to Angelo the gardener."
