"The Hyatt Regency and Spa in Monterey is a beautiful resort on sprawling acreage on the Del Monte Golf Course. I was there mid-week and the hotel was very quiet. The staff at the hotel were top notch. They were friendly and helpful, and kept me company on a solo visit to visit friends living in the area. It was Father’s Day weekend and by Friday night, the vibe at the hotel was different, yet still enjoyable, with families arriving for the weekend. By Saturday morning check out, the hotel was filled with families ready to celebrate. This is a kid and pet friendly resort with plenty of amenities to keep everyone in the family happy. The breakfast was outstanding, with either sit down meal or buffet options. I had shrimp scampi for dinner one evening and it was the best I’ve had. My only complaint was the hotel room doors slammed shut loudly. "

"Great one night stay. The place is older but the inside has been updated. (Crown molding??) Very comfortable. Beds were wonderful. We could hear the children upstairs but it's probably just because they were being children: bouncing off the walls. Would definitely stay again."

"Loved the location, comfortable bed, beautiful landscaping, and that breakfast was included. Parking was a bit tight, but nice to have on location. Water pressure of shower wasn’t great, but worked fine. Could hear the city bus in the morning, but we are early risers and did not bother us. Would have loved to have a ceiling fan since the room got a little warm, but the gas fire would be wonderful during the cooler months. Loved our visit to Carmel!!"

"I had a fantastic stay at Lovers Point Inn. The location is perfect, just steps from the beautiful Lovers Point Park and Beach. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered a stunning ocean view. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. Proximity to local attractions like the Monterey Bay Aquarium was a great bonus. Highly recommend for a relaxing and scenic getaway!"

"Our stay was great- it’s in the middle of everything, it’s less expensive than many other hotels in the area, it was easy to travel with our dogs (we used one of the local doggie daycare places for a few hours while we were off adventuring), parking is close & easy, and the room was comfy."
