"It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The lodge was a really high standard, the owners had thought of everything. The cherry on the top was the hot tub. The owners were really friendly, and at hand if you needed them. A really great place to stay if you want peace and quiet, and to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Would highly recommend."

"If you enjoy old homes with a cozy feel to them, this is the place. Its adorably decorated and well equipped. The beds were super comfortable. Theres a small garden with seating as well as a seating area out front . Its within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The neighborhood was super safe and quiet. The neighbors were truly nice and friendly. The owner of the property was an amazing person. He was helpful and informative beyond any expectations. If we could give 10 stars we would....

"On arrival the converted barn was beautifully clean. Superb hot tub. Everything you could want was there except for a mop which would have been essential as coming from the hot tub left considerable wetness on the kitchen floor.The other detail, not shown in photos when booking, was the giant solar assisted heating pump in the small bathroom that was very off putting. We didn’t need to see Anyone as we knew the check in and other procedures from visiting in October 2020 and July 2021. Hope to be back again soon"

"We had no hot water the whole time we were there. You cant get hold of the owner, they don't seem to care. Also there are no fans provided and the pod retains heat so it unbearable in the hot days. "
