"I highly recommend this property. The bedrooms were clean and comfy. Nicely redone with plenty of space. The basement is a good spot to shoot pool and play darts and even has a pac man arcade game. You can play music and not worry about bothering neighbors because there are no houses on either side of the property. The owner stays in contact with you in case you need anything and is very hospitable. There is a cafe across the street with delicious food. I got eggs and toast and my toast was made from homemade bread. So good."

"We booked this property for our family of four plus two dogs. Our stay was three overnights, which started on a Saturday. A few nights prior to our start beginning we texted the owner with a few questions abount amenities and supplies at the property, and we recieved a quick reply. The communication with the property owner from start to finish was the best we have had with any property owner on VRBO. We have used VRBO at least 2-3 times per year since 2021, and we have experienced many differences in how owners communicate with us. We found some issues with the property that did not adversely impact our stay but we suspected maybe the owner was unaware. The receptiveness in the owner's reponses to our observations were very pleasant. We recieved a foot of snow during our stay and plow service was promptly provided. The property itself was beautiful. The modern cabin was not more than a few hundred feet from the shore of Lake Superior, with miles of sandy beach to walk. The interior was decorated with many shades of blue that were more than likely inspired by the lake a stone's throw a way. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking and baking supplies, including spices and appliances. There were so many spices available that we made taco seasoning from scratch! This was a surpise stay. It would be fun to return in the warmer months for a stay with a swim."

"It is a cute, clean house, close to where I was working. I have a problem with Evolve assessing an insurance damage fee as line-item cost on the bill. By the time I saw it, I had already submitted my request and would face a penalty for cancelling. I will not be using a VRBO with this company again."
