"The staff was very plesent and was very helpful when I had questions about something. Had parking right in front of my room. There is no smoking in the rooms, but they supplied chairs out side of your door with an ash can to use. Not much in the way of shopping but there is a very large nice park across the street. Places to eat where so so. There is a down home restaurant in front of the Motel and also a food truck that has smoked meats which I did try and was a little pricey for such a small town but the food was excellent and you get a lot. The smoked pork steak is a must try."

"The condo was great! It was so nice and quiet, and we were able to relax like we wanted. I loved going out on the deck every morning with my iced coffee and a book and watch and listen to the waves come in. The condo was very close to the small public beach in Cedar Key, so we were able to go shelling two of the mornings. We had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. We would definitely recommend this unit for a relaxing and laid back vacay!"

"I see why others mention the neighborhood, but although there are some properties that are questionable we felt safe and the neighborhood was quiet. If you plan to cook during your stay, there are not many options for cooking pans/utensils. So bring casserole dishes, a frying pan if you prefer “non Teflon” type. There aren’t items like tin foil, plastic wrap or zip locks either. These are not complaints however, just informative for the next person. It would be nice if there were TVs in each room but we made it work. No fans in the rooms either, again just a note. Overall it was spacious and the outdoor area was nice and somewhat secluded and private. The place was clean and beds were comfortable."

"This place was absolute perfection from the second we walked until we walked out. The friendliest staff and owners. Super comfortable beds and a delicious fine dining steak house right in the building. The grounds are stunning with peacocks, bamboo and a stunning fountain with seating all around. I couldn’t believe how good of a deal the Putnam Lodge. If I could give 10/5 stars!!!!!!!"

"I recently stayed at a hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and made me feel very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, offering a great place to relax after a long day. I especially enjoyed the convenient location, which made exploring the area a breeze. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a quality stay."
