"This older motel was more than sufficient for our visit to Raton NM and Trinidad CO. No complaints at all about the room, the amenities and cleanliness. The continental breakfast is pretty basic and meager--that may be the one thing that was a bit disappointing. On the plus side, the motel has a Mexican restaurant on site that stays open late and serves pretty good food. Overall, I would gladly stay at Casa Lemus again."

"Building has quite a bit of character and is pleasantly set back from the street - nice and quiet. Deer were in the yard throughout our stay and we took care not to spook or bother them. Interesting way to have your morning coffee.Short drive to Whittington Center if that's why you're in town."

"The house itself was nice and clean. Contact with the host was easy. We got in to town late so didn’t get to really enjoy the house. However, the location is right off a main road. I didn’t notice much noise upstairs but we had to use the living room fold out couch downstairs, and it did make it hard for him to sleep."
