"Breakfast was disappointing. Watered down juice. Watered down sausage gravy. Dry tasteless powdered eggs. Took a chance and booked a room. “Deluxe” king suite. Air conditioner wasn’t working until my husband fiddled with it. Living room furniture was uncomfortable and held together with duct tape! Half the furniture pictured in the photos wasn’t in the room! We left a day early. Really bad."

"What a great surprise! Hotel was extremely nice with ample free parking onsite . The rooms were very European with all amenities and comfortable. The staff is so very helpful giving us excellent choices of where to go for dinner and they were also genuinely helpful and wanted our stay to be pleasant. We asked for an additional blanket and someone delivered it within a few minutes. Service is EXCELLENT! Will definitely stay at this hotel the next time we visit St. Augustine."

"When the room was cleaned they left no towels and they were a little rude. I’ve stayed at a lot of hiltons and it’s always been great experience except this time "

"We stayed at Carriage Way Inn for two nights in May. Everything was absolutely perfect. Lisa the manage and the rest of the staff were superb. Attentive, personable, warm, and sweet. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfy. Breakfasts were gourmet, with a different menu every day. Not to mention freshly made coffee and freshly baked cookies every day, and complimentary wine, soft drinks and water available all day. Even sherry at the bedside. Great location and free parking to boot. We definitely recommend Carriage Way Inn!"

"Breakfast was good. As far as anyone helping you -pretty non existent. We had several bags - not one finger was lifted to help not even offering a cart to transport our luggage . We were suppose to have water front. We had a door with a window that led to a patio that faced the driveway- turn your head you could see the water. And there was a dog that kept barking."

"It was overall good - great location for our needs. Housekeeping was rarely seen for fresh towels, we emptied our own trash each day (the do not disturb sign was not out). The building could definitely use some updates but perfect location for walking to everything."
