"It might sound like a cliché and a bit over the top but I think this is one of the best hotels in the world. The location is great, ample parking, the location next to the river gives the hotel a great atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the service matches, even when the restaurant is very busy. A nightcap after dinner on the terrace by the river on a warm summer evening! What more could you want? Highly recommended!"

"Lovely hotel with friendly staff in great location. It has recently been taken over by new management and they are planning on tidying it up, which it needs in some areas. (For example frayed carpet on stairs.) But the room was comfortable and we were upgraded for free to a bigger room as there was space. Trevor and Scott were both ver helpful. Location perfect and next to some great restaurants and bars."

"Very clean and very friendly staff. Rooms were decently sized, and we had very little disturbance and noise. Beds were comfy and clean. We paid extra for breakfast which was decent and worth the money (a hot breakfast which is brought to your table and cereal, pastries and hot drinks that you can get yourself). Great location for the quay and old town, with shops, restaurants, pubs and many boat trips nearby. If we were to return to the area we would come back here. "
