Once the train passes Pattipola railway station, it enters to Horton Plains National Park which is fully covered by huge trees, misty and rainy. The environment suddenly changes into a mysterious nature. This was taken while passing that region on our journey to Badulla.

It is always amazing to beat the path and walk along the unknown road which leads to local gems. I was wandering around Hatton region near my home and walked along the tea plantations without having any idea where I'm going. Finally, I ended up here with a breath-taking view of the Castlereagh Reservoir. Don't be afraid to beat the path. #LoveMyTown

A photo taken while I was traveling to Badulla in the upcountry railway line. This is the most scenic railway line in Sri Lanka and it's highly recommended. You will find this one in a life lite experience. It is totally 8 hour ride if my memory is good.
