"Some things to consider: Bed cubicles are cozy and private. Building is quiet. Only one bathroom (one shower, one toilet, two sinks) for men. Double that for women, as they are allowed to use the "men" bathroom also. Staff did not speak much English. About 15 minutes walk to Hakata, the closest subway/train station. Payment at the hostel is cash only. Check in required before 8 pm without previous arrangement for late arrival."

"The hostel was in a convenient spot for our time in fukuoka. Check-in and checkout were super easy. My only complaint is the bed was very uncomfortable. In general, all of our stays in japan had firmer beda but this bed made it hard to get good sleep. Overall would recommend for location and price but wish the beds were better"

"We were pleasantly surprised by WeBase Hostel. It's many years since we've stayed in a hostel, and this was definitely an improvement on 'the good old days'. Modern, clean, friendly staff, well organised, quiet, nice breakfast snack in the morning. Shared toilets and bathroom were clean. Our basic 2-bunk room was VERY small, but we managed to fit ourselves and packs in there. We aren't likely to pass through Fukuoka again, but would happily stay at WeBase once more."

"The space is pretty small for 6-people room, way more smaller. It is like the smaller version of college dormitory. But it's sufficient if you're not in a hurry. Plus, its location is very close to Tenjin station. And considering the price, it's decent enough. The owner/staff (I've only seen one, not sure) of the hotel is responsive and nice. Overall, happy face! :)"

"The hostel is very cozy and all the staff I interacted with were super sweet. The bathrooms, sinks, beds, and small hangout area were clean and comfortable. I accidentally left an earring in my bunk which the staff found and shipped back to me. There's also a free bike rental for an hour amongst other nice bonuses. The nearest station (Hakata station) is a 17 minute walk away which can feel like a longer walk in the heat of summer. However, I would absolutely stay here again! "

"If you want to have a bad hostel experience, this is it. They are currently under renovation so fascilities could improve.
