"Why do hotel designers think it is OK to have an ensuite bathroom with no door? A curtain is not an adequate replacement for a door. This was a big issue for us. Also the only seating in our room was 1 dining chair and 1 stool when there was room for something more comfortable. I don't want to have to sit on the bed, particularly at the price this hotel came in at. Everything else was very good."

"staff are very helpful. The food was amazing, but there is a little room for improvement on the accommodation marks on the walls. TV aerial cable draped over light fittings, and personally I would’ve liked blackout curtains as the room was very illuminated from outside lighting. but that said I would definitely stay there again. "

"Beautiful location right on the river bank. We had 2 nights at this amazing hotel. Our room was large, clean and extremely comfortable. The was a great choice for breakfast. The location is stunning with a large beer garden. The staff are friendly and helpful. They arranged a 6 seater taxi for us into St Ives which is a beautiful town which happened to have a jazz an and blues festival and a food market. "One of four rooms in an adjacent block (so no disturbance from the pub), the room and bathroom were very clean and provided everything needed for a one-night stay. Appears to have recently been refurbished. Good-size shower cubicle and good quality towels provided. We chose twin beds and they were full-size singles, unlike those often provided in smaller hotels. Room was large, warm and well lit. Breakfast was continental and pre-packed in a small 'fridge, consisting of one croissant...
