"Online showed what I would call an old photo Lounge chairs and chairs and umbrellas not set up for you. Sign them out and then walk 200 yards to beach carrying all your belongings. They are not like the picture. Room and hotel very clean. Great workers. The pool and bar both underwhelming. Bartender was great."

"I have stayed here a few times and would recommend it if you are looking to stay in a quiet part of the Clearwater Beach on the North end. It is 4 blocks from where the action starts. The pool is small but nice. The beach is steps from the hotel. There are 2 restaurants within a couple minutes away."

"We traveled to Clearwater for a short 3-day vacation and were very pleased with our stay at The Avalon Club! The facilities were very clean and well staffed. The 3 bedroom condo was beautiful and spacious for our family of 6. Even the pull out couch and bedding were comfortable. The staff was great and we loved the use of chairs, beach toys and towels for use at the beach. There were plenty of places to eat and shop all within walking distance. We definitely would stay again."

"My chief complaint about this property is they charged me a very large security deposit in January for our stay in May. We only got the money back over 2 weeks after we checked out. They had my money for 5+ months. Place was in a great location with a nice pool and walking distance to beach and bars . One bedroom was only accessible through the bathroom or other bedroom. All in all it was a really nice place. Parking was great and it was nicely furnished. Communication with management was great"

"This property was just what our family enjoys. The beach is busy but not crowded at all. Kids love the clean sparkling pool. Ellen is a wonderful host."

"The place was fine. We had to ask for a blanket/ comforter for the pull out sofa because there wasnt any. We did get a blanket. We had to purchase batteries because the ones in the thermostat died and there weren't extras. Very limited glasses, mugs, and kitchen utensils. There were no oven mits/pot holders for oven use. There is not cable/satelitetv. You have to input your own streaming account and password to watch wifi tv. Location was bayside though with a nice view."

The only critique would be they could add a few necessities that would help make their place more like staying at home, such as a primary bedroom garbage can and chip clips.
