"This house is perfect for large groups, with space to comfortably sleep everyone and lots of communal space, both inside and out. The grounds are lovely with beautiful views out over the countryside. Its location, is perfect for visiting Lyme Regis, we spent a great day by the sea. "

"Terrible property - due to stay here for 5 nights but posed such a health risk that we left immediately and checked in elsewhere at great expense. Sacks of rubbish left, outdoor dining area unusable, dangerous shower, bedroom fans covered in thick dust and mould. Is not as described - is a mid terraced property, not semi-detached as the pictures suggest. Neighbours garden full of trade waste and arguing with each other so would have been unpleasant to sit outside. Undesirable area. Do not stay...

"We stayed in Helena, it was very clean and well equipped. Concern about escape routes in the event of a fire. Some rooms didn’t have a large enough window to get out of. Swimming pool great, as was the hot tub. Lovely setting near Blandford. Would recommend getting shopping delivered as quite remote. "

"Eleven of us 8 adults and 3 children had a lovely time. We stayed for 3 nights. The farmhouse had everything you needed and the views were wonderful Will try to go back"

The deer and rabbits on the lawn made it so magical for our children and we were well placed for day trips including Lyme Regis. "Lovely hotel with beautiful rooms. Very interesting history. Handy for town , 5 mins walk, hundreds of different restaurants Lovely to have decent tea and coffee facilities in our room, with delicious biscuits. A really pleasant little hotel, very handy for the Station – just opposite. Staff are extremely friendly "
