"Thought we would go to the beach during the winter to experence Hatteras when it was quiet. Overall experence was good. The sliding door at the front of the cabana was tilted and didn't slide competely closed so it was very cold the first night. then I stuffed towels in the cracks that helped. The toilet insides were rusted and the flapper would not shut properly, so everytime we flushed the toilet we needed to take off the top and push it in the sealed position. "I’m not one to normally complain, but when you are spending this much money on a home for a week, you should know what you’re getting. If you’re alone or don’t plan on spending much time in the house it’s great, don’t have back problems, or asthma it’s great. The house is older so it’s drafty and A LOT of the moisture gets in causing mildew/ moldy air ducts and for me personally it’s difficult to breathe in that air quality, the beds made me feel about 30 years older and the bathrooms are usable...
