"We had a wonderful time at Mary's home in Door County. The home is very cozy. It was perfect for three of us. The living room section has windows facing the bay. We sat there for hours looking at the bay. The kitchen was perfect with all kinds of utensils that we needed for the three nights of stay. We cooked a few small meals and it was easy. The beds were comfy. The road in front of the house is quiet and good for walking. Our stay was very peaceful. We spent more time at home than exploring...

The property manager made check in a breeze and was also very fast to respond to questions not only about the property, but the surrounding area. "It was a quiet and relaxing place. Birds were migrating, the first weekend in April. It was a little muddy, so bring your mud boots, binoculars and field book is required."

"Nice and clean place. Only downside the spring lake fly hatch making the outside space unbearable to use and a ton of flies coming into the house as soon as you open any outside door. A screened in patio would help tremendously with enjoying the nice deck and beautiful lake view during the spring."

Plenty of space --the house is spacious, parking is plentiful, street is quiet, and the yard goes on forever. The bay here is gently shallow and we appreciated the kayaks. "The highlight of our stay was the pool. Two families stayed here for our spring break with 5 kids (ages 16, 14, 14, 11 and 11). Everyday the kids were enjoying the pool. We did have a snowstorm while we were there that caused the power to flicker and internet to be spotty. We had to shovel the drive/front steps ourselves. Good stay overall and we would recommend to others."

"House for a family of 8 was perfect. Lots of open living space to congregate in. A fully stocked kitchen was very nice. Views of the water were stunning. Plenty of bird watching to be had. Lots of onsite activities to keep you occupied. We drove to the Washington island ferry which was 1 hr 20 minutes so the location was a great home base. The check in and checkout was very easy."

"owner was good to work with direct. wasn't a fan of having "evolve" as a contact to start. liked that we had access to garage to park boat 619 was tight but doable . we had temps in mid teens. turning around with boat was a little tight but very doable. cabin was clean well stocked. "

"This property is located on Sturgeon Bay and the views of the water are panoramic across the property. The water can be seen from nearly windows on the property and is only about 50 feet from the water. The property owners were most helpful and truly cared about our comfort and preferences."
