"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin and enjoyed our time at the little lake. I had booked it for my wife's birthday and we were there with our two children (ages 8 & 11). The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Dishes, utensils, cookware, grills, kayaks, life jackets, sunscreen, bug spray, etc. The amenities were abundant and thoughtful. We enjoyed the little private dock, kayaking around the lake, swimming, and fishing, although we didn't catch anything. The evenings were quiet and relaxing while we cooked and played board games. For anyone who can't disconnect, the cabin has high speed WiFi, which is appreciated, since we had no service through T-Mobile. The lake and surrounding area was serene and peaceful, just what we were looking for. The cabin is a hidden gem and we will definitely return in the future."

"This is a lovely house by the river, at the end of a dirt road! It’s peaceful and relaxing, the porch was awesome, the kitchen is updated and modern, the extra bathroom was small but nice to have at the upstairs bedroom, the host was quick to respond and very helpful giving us an extra day when I messed up my schedule so I highly recommend this property!!"

"Phenomenal location; if you are looking for a remote, peaceful setting this is it. My husband and I, along with our dog took this trip after a very long, hard year of cancer treatments and it was so healing to just sit on the rockers on the porch, listening to the Chauga river. There was a sparrow who made a nest under the porch and we watched her hunt worms to feed her babies. Cabin has a rustic feel, exactly what we were looking for. Ver private. We went on several hikes at local waterfalls all within a 30 min drive. Highly recommended Brasstown Falls. The only reason I didn't give all 5 stars is because of 2 things; getting in the door was difficult, I didn't receive any specific instructions and I emailed the property contact to ask a couple questions days before we arrived and never received a reply. So communication wasn't great, but I would definitely come back to this cabin. Also, be prepared to bring food to cook because if you're looking to eat all your meals out you will have to drive to Seneca. The closest town, Walhalla, had very few options and most were not even open while we were there."
