"I was weary of booking this hotel because of the lack of reviews but I stayed here for 3 months while working in Germany and enjoyed it so much I recommended it to my colleague to book as well. The people who run the hotel are very friendly and helpful with any questions. The man who works the breakfast room remembered on my 3rd day what I would want to eat and cooked it without asking. Being able to open your doors and look out at the river was my favorite part and it's a very nice, safe area....

"There was a Sports Gambling parlour & Ladies' Spa & Tanning salon on bldg ground floor (photo)- those places looked sleazy. The Apart sign at location read Apart Hotel "Boarding House" (photo). A Boardinghouse suggests a different type of clientele than a guest hotel. Do not recall online listing as Boardinghouse, only Hotel when I booked it. "The Houseboat Villa Nautica is not for everyone. My wife and I are 70 and enjoy staying in unique accommodations such as the tented camps in Kenya. We are self-sufficient and are comfortable living out of our two carry-on bags. We own property in the Rocky Mountains in Canada and love having our morning coffee on our deck watching the wildlife that call this part of the world home. "Easy parking. Clean and comfortable. It will be good if reservation number can be provided in advance but when ask thru they answer quite fast so overall it is great including the self check in"
