"I stayed at this cute place for three nights while visiting family for my sister’s funeral. It was the perfect escape from the sad situation when I needed ‘alone time’ and I got a great night’s sleep throughout thanks to the clean, comfortable, quiet, hospitable environment. The room had everything I needed and was simultaneously modern and quaint. Spotlessly clean. Super friendly proprietor. I honestly couldn’t believe the reasonable price I paid. Highly recommend. "

"We had a wonderful time at the rental by the beach. The space was very clean, peaceful, and located in a friendly, quiet neighborhood. Best of all, it was just a short walk to the beach—perfect for morning strolls and sunset views. Manager was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend! "

"This was a great stay for the long weekend. The space was VERY clean, accurate to the photos. We appreciate the host and his communication! I will add that the parking is/can be limited and tight. But we made it work well and drove a truck! We would definitely stay again. 2 minutes from the beach!"

"We stayed 5 nights with 5 adults and 5 kids (ages 9-15). This is an excellent house for families with kids, very spacious home with plenty of space to spread out. Access to the beach via private path was priceless! Extremely easy to get to the beach with all your gear! Communication was good and house was as described. "
"The property, location, and amentities were exactly what my family was looking for in our vacation. We loved being able to walk out on the back deck then go straight to the beach. The beach is a community beach, which was nice because you were never crowded but also didn't feel secluded. The water was calm and a nice temperature. We took paddle boards down and got to enjoy them quite a bit. The deck itself was great for reading and even doing some exercise in the morning! We spent a lot of our time back there.The house itself stayed surprisingly cool, and we were down there during a heat wave where it was mid 90s everyday. It always felt refreshing in the house. Great beds, everything you need in the kitchens, plenty of bathrooms. Solid wi-fi and everything you need TV and furniture wise to chill inside.We loved the location, but make sure you know what you're booking. To us, this was great because we could go to Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown one day then pop over to Virginia Beach another. It is not busy and bustling, and there isn't a ton of local shopping or restauarants. Exactly what we wanted though.That said, if you're staying here, go to Coasters Coffee. Excellent coffee.Bottom line - we loved it. We rarely repeat stay at places because we like to go to different locations, but this one may be an exception. It's that good."
