Perfect location

This property was perfect for our stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The railroad tracks behind the house was not bad at all. This house is close to the beach with all the chairs, umbrellas, and toys that we needed. We look forward to staying again!

Perfect house, perfect location

Everything about the house and location was perfect. The front yard has plenty of comfy seating and a great place to hang out in the shade after a day at the beach. The family room and kitchen area was spacious enough for our group to cook and eat dinner while watching the Olympics. Loved the many restaurants and coffee shops within walking.distance. just wonderful!

Great short stay!

Great short stay for a soccer tournament weekend. Easy access and parking. The house does back up to the train tracks so it took a little getting used to the trains, but nothing terrible. Super comfortable space and enjoyable time!

Our stay was Amazing… We had so much fun…. Very spacious and private… we love the outdoor fire pit and the upstairs balcony with the amazing view of the ocean…, it wasn’t the best of weather but we made the best of it.., Thank you for making it affordable.., we made great memories and hope to come back again… this will always be our Sea~ster place!!!!

Wonderful Stay!

It was a perfect getaway for a long weekend! The house was adorable, very comfy and spacious. The front patio was peaceful and relaxing to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The rooftop deck had an amazing view and a nice grill to BBQ. Great location, within walking distance to beach and restaurants and the parking was easy. The property manager was also lovely and very easy to contact if needed. I would definitely stay at this property again in the future.

Awesome!! We will be staying again

Randi was awesome!! She was very reachable and worked with us through our odd travel schedule which was more appreciated than I could ever express. The rental was very clean and well stocked down to chairs, carts and a rug for the beach. The outside kitchen is a nice perk. Overall The house was perfect and I absolutely loved the train outside with the sea breezes coming in. The view is phenomenal and having Oceanside in walkable distance was the icing on the cake! I’m sure with military sons we will be back often!

Amazing stay in Oceanside

This house was great to stay in for our weekend trip to Oceanside. The house is beautifully decorated yet comfortable. It was also very clean and felt spacious. The location was in a great spot to access the beach, pier and shops/restaurants and a quick drive to other restaurants . The train tracks behind the home mainly effect the master bedroom, which was noted. If you are a light sleeper, this could effect you waking up, but I didn't mind. I went right back to sleep and appreciated the comfortable bed. We appreciated all of the beach supplies, such as wagon, chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. The owner was responsive and friendly when contacted. I would recommend this place and would stay here again if I visited Oceanside.

Great location, nice clean house. Had trouble checking in. Access code was not emailed to me by 4:00. Had to call the owner and wait for call back to access house. TV’s do not get local Stations or ESPN. Could not watch football or baseball games. Other than that, it’s a great house.

Perfect Location

This house is a gem. It is exactly as advertised. The pictures are accurate. The house is located a few blocks from downtown Oceanside and a few blocks from the beach. So, there is so much convenience within walking distance, whether it is grabbing coffee or donuts in the morning, going out to dinner, or going to the beach. The house itself has a lot of room, it's elegant (as the pictures reflect). Each bedroom as a TV with access to a lot of free content. There is only one downfall of renting this house, which is not the owner's fault, and it is the only reason I didn't select 5 stars. There is a railway track behind the house and freight trains run throughout the night. So, if you are a light sleeper, it may awaken you. Nothing a fan (included) with earplugs (not included) won't fix. Lastly, the guest contact responded quickly each time I reached out to her. She accommodated our needs with ease the entire time. Again, great house, great neighborhood with a ton of conveniences and a responsive guest contact.

We loved this place! Very clean and comfy and nicer than most vacation rentals!We really appreciated how well stocked it was, including a wagon, an umbrella and beach chairs.Walkable to the pier and the beach and lots of restaurants.Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful home yet restless nights.

This home is beautifully decorated and clean. We found everything we needed to cook with in the kitchen. Loved the front patio for relaxing. The only down fall was the railroad tracks in which it does state in the description but we thought we would take a chance. Let me just say the very comfortable bed in the master bedroom was not used. The first night and the remainder of the nights my husband & I had to go sleep in the loft with our twins. I even took ear plugs just incase and that didn’t help. Also the bright light that comes in the master room was ridiculous. I would definitely invest in black out shutters for the top windows in the master. Or put in sound proof insulation. I would also talk to the storage unit owners a cross the railroad tracks to add motion sensor lights. Other than that our stay was nice and the home is beautiful just don’t plan on using the master bedroom for a peaceful sleep.

Beautiful, comfortable, close to the beach

This home had everything we needed for our stay. Most of what we wanted to do was a quick walk or short car ride to get to. Beach was very close. The property was well taken care of. We loved spending time on the front porch by the fire pit. Would love to come again!

Great local

This house is in a great location, a quick walk to the beach and returants. The front patio and rooftop deck were a great place to relax. The kitchen was well appointed if you like to cook at home. The only downside to this property was the train, they were quite loud and ran frequently.

Beautiful home

The house was beautiful, spacious, clean and in a great location. The house has everything you need and the beds are very comfortable. The beach, restaurants, coffee shops everything is at walking distance.

Beautiful CA Home

Loud train ruined vacation

This residence is very beautiful and well decorated, and is close to the beach. It is a well maintained property, with a well stocked kitchen. The bathrooms are very nice. Unfortunately, there is a very loud train that runs directly behind the property. It is supposed to only run between the hours of 6 am and 11 pm. During our stay, it ran outside of these hours and severely impacted our sleep. Even if it ran during regular hours, you would not be able to sleep past 6 am. We were only able to stay one of a planned four nights. The tracks intersect with a cross-street just behind this property, therefore, the train conductor will blow the warning horn full blast just as they are passing the house. Since the master bedroom is at the back of the house, it sounds like the train is heading straight for the master bed just as the horn blows--and it is LOUD. Also, the ENTIRE house shakes when the train passes by. If you need your sleep, or are a light sleeper, I would not recommend this place. This was a lose-lose situation, since the owner didn't get our full rental fee, and we lost our Spring Break vacation. I will give this two stars, since we were refunded for the three nights we didn't stay, plus fees. I would give credit to Evolve for handling this, and would consider other properties from Evolve--just not this one.

Nice Neighborhood but not as pictured-

This property looked nice online but when we got there we had to do quite a bit of cleaning before we felt comfortable. Also the listing tells that the train comes every so often, when it actually comes every 15-30 minutes even on weekends. The best thing about the neighborhood is the ocean right down the street. The upstairs patio is not very welcoming & quite dated. Deep clean is NEEDED for sure.

Almost perfect

House was beautiful, updated and would be perfect EXCEPT for the railroad DIRECTLY behind the home. There is a small mention in the listing, however, it did not fully prepare for the high traffic or noise. The master bedroom has an amazing adjustable bed, I guess to make up for the inability to sleep. The train is right outside the master bedroom and so loud it sounded like it would be crashing into the room at any second. The really fun part was the earth shaking vibrations and strobe light party when the train passed the street lights. Gives a whole new meaning to bed rocking. The train comes by once/twice an hour - just when you start falling asleep BAM! Otherwise the house was perfect! Walking distance to the beach. Close to everything and a very good vibe. The 3rd floor patio was not cleaned and looked forgotten. Grill was really dirty and furniture was old and torn. Definitely a shame because the area had a lot of potential. Train is the main reason for the 3 stars

Train

The property was very clean and in good condition however, there is a train directly behind the house that runs every 30 min through the day AND night. The train was listed as "occasional" in the description-- that is FALSE! The train is always running nothing "occasional" about it. If that had been disclosed to us up front we would have NEVER booked the property. We had to rearrange all of our plans and uproot our children to find something else last minute which lead us to have to miss out on several plans that we already had booked. If you want a good night sleep and not wake up every 30min this is not the place for you.
