I booked a room at the Islander for my mother and sister. I requested a handicap that faced the ocean, there were none. I booked the last room with 2 beds that faced the ocean it was in the 7th building the furthest from the elevator. "Clean and updated rooms. Great staff! We love our stays here!"

"Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating!"

"Water did not get above Luke warm but otherwise no other issues. Staff were very nice and helpful"

"Up until last night, it was okay. My family fell prey to a ravenous victum"

"Room was quiet, bed was clean, the carpet was a bit questionable. Breakfast was ok."

"There was a couple of big roaches we saw but otherwise it was a very good time"

"The breakfast could be better. Seems every Wyndham hotel I stay in have the same breakfast every day. A little variety would be nice. Not really worth getting up early for. Also, some close at 9:00 and others at 9:30. Consistency would be nice."

"The beach view was perfect. Not a long walk at all to the beach. Nice clean rooms too. Staff was wonderful. We'll definitely be back."

"First room was dirty- someone else’s hair was all in the sheets- that clearly hadn’t been changed. Switched rooms and it was somewhat cleaner. Bathroom was dirty, shower curtain was mildewed badly and the whole hotel smells musty. All linens were musty and dingy. Would not stay here again. Bed was also awful, like sleeping on box springs. Hard hard. 10/10 would not recommend if cleanliness is important to you!"

"We stayed for one night it was an easy check in the rooms are really big but the deck outside needed a facelift and I see that they are doing work and I hope that they'll work on the balconies that's the only complaint"
