Beachliner Hotel

Beachliner Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Beachliner Hotel is a dream come true! Exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. This historic building is beautifully maintained and steps away from the beach, shops and restaurants. The complimentary beach towels and chairs were a very nice touch for those who like to pack light. And the complimentary use of beach cruisers (bikes) is an awesome touch. The bed was very comfortable and the room towels thick and soft. Breakfast is included with plenty of delicious options."

"The room was very clean. It was a bit noisy. Just hallway noise. Beautiful chandelier in the room. Staff was friendly. I dined on the patio. The crab cake was the best I've ever had. All crabmeat. No breadcrumbs. The cucumber martinis were absolutely delicious."

Beachwalk at Sea Bright

Beachwalk at Sea Bright

10/10 Excellent
"We had booked two rooms in advance... both with just two double beds. They upgraded us to one room with ocean ocean view, one king bed, one queen bed and one room had a river view and two queen beds :) We stayed on a Sunday night after labor day. Rooms nice a clean. The pool had an issue and the water was green. We only stayed one night. Check in wasn't until 4:00 but we could use the beach which is conveniently right across the street. The bar and restaurant is nicely situated on a big deck next to pool and river. we enjoyed a nice sunset and a pretty sunrise too :) Will definitely go again. Will definitely"

Quaker Inn

Quaker Inn

10/10 Excellent
"Nice. The location, just a block or so from the beach and boardwalk, is excellent. The staff, especially Jerry, is great; in addition to providing free beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrellas and boogie boards, coffee, tea and water in the lobby around the clock, Jerry lent us a bike pump and bike lock when we forgot ours. Bike rack in front. Easy access at all hours with code. The selection of restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops and bakeries on the same side street, is impressive. The hotel itself is older, has no elevator, and the stairs are narrow, but Jerry offered to carry our luggage up to our third-floor room; we didn't need the help but others might. No central air, but the window unit keeps it cool or even cold, and it was a hot and sunny on Labor Day weekend. The bed wasn't great, only a double was available (the room might fit a queen but it would be tight) and the mattress was less than ideal in terms of support but it wasn't too uncomfortable. Not great sound proofing. Two third-floor patios were nice for reading, as were the rocking chairs on the large, shaded front porch. Mini-fridge in the room. Common-area kitchen had china, glassware and flatware, which I love because I hate using plastic anymore than absolutely necessary. Bottled water and sodas in the lobby are cheap. We were able to park on the street right in front of the hotel for free; not guaranteed but there was a fair amount of free parking on one of the busiest weekends of the season."
